The guides are free, and stay free. Every BIR form, deadline, rate and step-by-step process on this site is open to everyone with no account and no payment. That is government information, and charging for it would be wrong. TAXKAYA sells the ledger: the recording, the computation and the printing. Browse the guides.

What it does not do

  • File or transmit anything to the BIR. There is no eFPS, eBIRForms or ORUS connection.
  • Replace your accountant. The figures are cash-planning estimates, not a filing-grade return.
  • Connect to your bank. Statements are imported by file, not by open banking.

When a subscription lapses, new entries pause — nothing is deleted or locked away. Your ledger stays readable, printable and exportable for as long as your account exists.

Questions

What happens when the 7-day trial ends?
New entries pause, and you are asked how it went — a rating and a few words, which is genuinely what decides what gets built next. Everything you already recorded stays readable, printable and exportable. It is not locked, hidden or deleted, and you can reach all of it from that same screen.
Are you charging for this yet?
No. The prices above are what it will cost when billing opens, published now so you can decide whether the trial is worth that. No card is collected anywhere on this site and no payment can be taken today.
Is a card required to start the trial?
No. No payment details are collected to start, and nothing is charged when the trial ends. You subscribe deliberately or not at all.
Are there cheaper and more expensive tiers?
No. The three prices are three lengths of the same thing, not three versions of the product — every feature is on every plan. A partial ledger is worse than no ledger, so putting the tax module behind a higher tier would mean selling a bookkeeping tool that quietly omits the reason you bought it. Buying a longer window costs less per month because it is one payment instead of twelve, which is worth something to both of us.
Am I locked in? How do I stop paying?
There is nothing to cancel and no minimum term. A payment buys 30 days and nothing renews on its own — no card is kept on file. When a period ends you either pay for another or you do not, and if you stop, writing pauses while everything you recorded stays readable, printable and exportable.
Do you file my returns with the BIR?
No. This software does not connect to the BIR, eFPS, eBIRForms or ORUS, and it is not affiliated with any government agency. It works out what you are likely to owe and when it is due; filing stays yours.
Where is my data stored?
In our database, under your account, protected by row-level security so only you can query your own rows — not other customers, and not us browsing casually. See the Privacy Policy for how that works.

Refunds and cancellation are covered in the Refund Policy.
