i.

Who provides this service

TAXKAYA is operated by GENETRIFY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES, registered with the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry under DTI Business Name Registration No. 8072131 and BIR TIN 800-066-409. Registered address: Polomolok, South Cotabato.

References in these terms to “we,” “us,” or “our” mean GENETRIFY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES. For business or legal correspondence, email support@genetrify.com.

ii.

Acceptance

Using TAXKAYA means agreeing to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

iii.

What this software is

TAXKAYA is bookkeeping and tax-planning software. It records income and expenses you enter, organises them, and computes estimates from the figures you provide and the registration profile you set up.

It does not file anything on your behalf. It does not connect to the Bureau of Internal Revenue, eFPS, eBIRForms, ORUS, or your bank. Every return you owe is still filed by you, through the BIR's own channels.

iv.

Not tax or accounting advice

TAXKAYA is not a substitute for an accountant, a lawyer, or a licensed tax practitioner, and using it does not create a professional relationship of any kind.

The figures it shows are cash-planning estimates, not a filing-grade computation. They depend entirely on what you enter and on the profile you configured, and they apply published general rules that may not fit your situation. Confirm anything you intend to file with a qualified professional. The full statement is in our Disclaimer.

You remain solely responsible for what you file, when you file it, and what you pay. Any penalty, surcharge, interest or assessment arising from a return you filed is yours, whatever this software displayed.

v.

Your data and your responsibility

Your ledger is stored on the device you run TAXKAYA on. We do not hold a copy, which means we cannot recover it for you. Backups are your responsibility — the whole ledger is a single file and copying it somewhere safe takes a moment.

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of what you enter, and for keeping the records the BIR requires you to keep, independently of this software.

vi.

Trial, pricing and renewal

  • 7-day free trial. Every feature is available during the trial. No payment method is required to begin, and nothing is charged when it ends.
  • ₱249 per month afterwards, billed in Philippine pesos.
  • You may cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals and leaves access running to the end of the period you already paid for.
  • When a subscription lapses, your ledger file is untouched and your data stays yours. You keep the ability to read and export what you have already recorded.
  • Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

We may change the price. If we do, we will give at least 30 days' notice before it applies to you, and the change will never apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for.

vii.

Acceptable use

One subscription covers one person or one business. Do not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the software, and do not attempt to circumvent the subscription check.

The guide content — the form explanations, the process walkthroughs and the taxpayer-rights material — is ours. You are welcome to read it, act on it, and link to it. Do not republish it wholesale as your own.

viii.

Availability and changes

We may add, change or remove features. Tax rules change too, and when they do we update the calculations and the guides — which means a figure shown today may legitimately differ from the same figure shown last year for the same inputs.

We will give reasonable notice before removing something you depend on, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability.

ix.

Liability

The software is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and accuracy of any computed figure.

To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, our total liability for any claim relating to TAXKAYA is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including tax penalties, surcharges, interest, lost profits, or lost data.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

x.

Termination

You may stop using TAXKAYA and delete your data at any time; see Your Data. We may suspend or end access where these terms are breached, or where continuing would be unlawful.

xi.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute that cannot be resolved in good faith will be brought before the proper courts of the city or province of the registered address of GENETRIFY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES.
